Bavarian Village is a flagship destination at Winter Wonderland, Hyde Park, London serving thousands of guests daily across multiple venues. To keep pace with demand and deliver a seamless experience, the team partnered with WRS to implement a unified, future-ready POS solution across its entire estate.

The challenge

Managing high-volume service across multiple bars and food outlets required more than just tills. Bavarian Village needed a scalable, cloud-based platform that could consolidate POS, kiosks, vouchering, and future QR ordering – while ensuring stability during peak trading periods.

Our solution

WRS delivered an estate-wide remote rollout of 200 POS devices in just 7 days, supported by bespoke development and on-site go-live assistance, bringing tills, kiosks and vouchers into one unified cloud platform with custom kiosk functionality such as a “Build a Meal” feature, remote console alcohol approval for kiosk orders, powerful real-time reporting, and fast change management to adapt seamlessly to live trading conditions.

Within two weeks, Bavarian Village achieved a stable, efficient operation across its estate, with all 200 POS devices live in 7 days, reduced complexity through a single unified platform, an improved guest experience driven by faster service and streamlined ordering, and trusted ongoing support including out-of-hours assistance during peak season.
