Wightlink Ferries connects the Isle of Wight and Hampshire, transporting over 3.8 million passengers annually. To support its busy operations, WRS was selected to install POS systems across Wightlink’s fleet of vehicle ferries and shoreside outlets in Portsmouth, Lymington, and the Isle of Wight. The challenge
Wightlink required a POS solution that could be deployed across multiple unique locations—onboard vessels and in terminal cafés—without impacting business operations. The system needed to not only improve customer service but also provide robust back-end tools for stock control and reporting. The company also sought to partner with a local, trusted technology provider.
Our solution
WRS successfully installed full POS systems across Wightlink’s fleet and shoreside outlets, including terminals in Portsmouth, Lymington, and the Isle of Wight. The rollout was completed within the agreed timeframe, with minimal disruption.
