WRS Systems Account Manager, Jamie White, caught up with Chef Alain Roux about his experience of working with WRS:

What made you choose WRS Systems?

“We chose WRS circa 2008, when we upgraded to a digital bedroom reservation system for the first time. WRS were recommended to us, in particular because of its integrated software, Stockade. This has enabled us to build an essential database with a stock control function, listing all products we sell to our guests, including thousands of wines and food items. We can pull reports and monitor stock at the touch of a button.

“The system is very user friendly which is a key reason why we have remained with WRS after so many years.”

Is the system easy to use and understand, and has it enhanced the customer experience?

“The main reason we choose to retain WRS’s service is because it is so user friendly with diverse, useful features. We have a single till system and have been able to rearrange the key buttons on our cash register to suit our needs. We have organised a single button to represent a promotion menu, for example.

“The system has enabled us to streamline our customer experience. In particular, at checkout, rather than two bills, for accommodation and food, we can now issue a single final itemised bill to our customers, including full meal descriptions.”

“We are delighted with the level of support we receive from WRS. We appreciate the personal, friendly service, with expert technical support available by phone and email. It is essential that we engage with human people rather than yet another automated system.
