Overview

Founded in the late 1990s, from a single site fish and chip shop, Big John’s has grown into a multi-award-winning fast-food brand with 18 locations across the Midlands. Big John’s partnered with WRS to modernise its customer experience and streamline operations through advanced POS, online ordering and kitchen technology.

The challenge

Big John’s needed a POS solution that could support its growing footprint and deliver a consistent, efficient experience across both drive-thru and dine-in outlets. The brand also sought to improve customer flow, increase average spend, and simplify operations for staff.

Our solution

WRS introduced self-service kiosks, digital Kitchen Display Systems (KDS), and Order Ready Boards across Big John’s stores. The new POS system is centralised and integrated with back-office reporting, enabling real-time insights and operational control. The comprehensive rollout supports both existing and future sites as Big John’s continues to expand.
