Celebrating International Women’s Day

As we mark International Women’s Day, our Chief Operating Officer, Sophie Jackson, believes giving more women opportunities at WRS has helped drive the business forward.

“A fresh perspective and a wealth of talent.”

Our Chief Operating Officer, Sophie Jackson, feels both personal and professional pride at the change in dynamic across the WRS workforce.

Much has changed across the industry over the last decade but for Sophie, the rise in the number of women working for our company is among the most significant.

 Sophie said:

“As a director of what is perceived to be a male-dominant industry, I have witnessed a major shift in the dynamics of our workplace. More and more women are joining our business, bringing with them a fresh perspective and a wealth of talent.”

WRS has always championed a gender equal world, free of bias, stereotypes and discrimination, and promoting diversity and inclusivity.

And Sophie believes that approach has helped us foster a culture of respect and collaboration, enabling us to build a strong team, capable of delivering exceptional POS systems across the UK, Europe and beyond.

Sophie added:

“At WRS, we believe in creating an inclusive and supportive work environment where everyone, regardless of gender, feels empowered to thrive. We provide equal opportunities for career growth and development, ensuring that women have the resources and support they need to succeed. Happy International Women’s Day.”
