WRS Join the Charity Retail Association

WRS is pleased to announce it has joined the Charity Retail Association, the trade body representing charity retailers across the UK.

The membership reflects WRS’s growing involvement within the charity retail sector, supporting organisations with POS and Gift Aid technology designed to simplify operations and improve visibility across retail estates.

From its headquarters on the Isle of Wight, WRS provides leading solutions to hospitality and retail operators across the UK, including charities such as Mountbatten Hospice in the south of England, where WRS supports retail shops and cafe operations.

WRS is now officially listed by HM Revenue & Customs as a recognised Charities Online software supplier—validating our ability to support charities with compliant, streamlined Gift Aid submissions.

Jamie White, Head of Business Development at WRS, said:

“Joining the Charity Retail Association is a natural step for WRS as we continue to engage with the charity retail sector. Charity retailers operate in a unique environment, balancing commercial retail with the important mission of raising funds for good causes.

“Our Gift Aid solution, in particular, is helping charities claim significant amounts of extra revenue in a simplified way.”

The Charity Retail Association represents over 500 charities operating more than 9,000 shops across the UK, providing guidance, research and support to help charity retailers maximise their impact.

By becoming a member, WRS aims to further strengthen its engagement with the sector and support charities exploring ways to modernise their retail operations through reliable POS and Gift Aid technology.
