Improving kitchen efficiency
Chefs and kitchen staff need a reliable system to keep up with customer demand for quick and efficient service. Our tailored Kitchen Display Screens (KDS) provide the solution.
Improving efficiency and accuracy is key for busy commercial kitchens.
In today’s fast-paced world, customers want a straightforward service for ordering and receiving their food. And our bespoke Kitchen Display Screens (KDS) options are helping meet their expectations.
KDS is a digital screen-based solution, used primarily in restaurants and food service establishments to streamline kitchen communication and order management.

Replacing traditional paper tickets, KDS displays customer orders on screens in kitchens as they are entered at the Point of Sale (POS) in real time.
Every kitchen screen shows the full order but by using a coding system, each station can see which part is relevant to them.
This improves the speed, accuracy and coordination of preparing orders, all while reducing communication issues between front and back-of-house teams.
The system integrates with kiosk, table ordering and food delivery apps to monitor the progress or orders. And customers in restaurants, cafes and takeaway outlets can also track the progress of their order on front-of-house screens.

“The KDS system from WRS is brilliant,” said Jaz Jhongir, Operations Director at Big John’s.
“It has improved the efficiency of our whole operation and it’s a model we are rolling out across all our sites.”
This innovation from WRS reinforces our commitment to supporting the hospitality sector with powerful, intuitive technology that keeps operations running smoothly.
“Ultimately, KDS helps hospitality teams reduce miscommunication and serve customers more quickly,” said Sophie Jackson, WRS Chief Operating Officer.
“It helps to keep the process seamless for both chefs and front-of-house staff, and gives the customers live updates on their order, so everyone benefits.”
