Helping Cornish Bakery roll out across the UK

Cornish Bakery is one of the country’s fastest growing companies and we’ve been delighted to help enable their expansion.

In 2024, Cornish Bakery was one of the few UK hospitality companies to be ranked in the Top 100 Interpath Retail Growth Index.

Rapid expansion plans have seen the premium bakery-café chain take its total number of outlets in the UK to over 60, with realistic ambitions to have 100 by 2026.

The relationship between Cornish Bakery and WRS started 13 years ago, when the company had less than half its current number of stores.

Ralf Goad, Cornish Bakery Finance Director, said:

“WRS has provided consistent IT services to deliver, support and sustain the hardware and software of the Stockade Point of Sale (POS). WRS gives us bespoke reports to enhance and aid our business decision-making process. We have expanded consistently over the last few years and WRS has helped and assisted with the roll out procedure, providing critical support during this process.”

Cornish Bakery’s latest store, opened in Milton Keynes in December, achieved record sales during its opening week. WRS’ Chief Operating Officer, Sophie Jackson, said:

“Having worked with Cornish Bakery for many years, it has been a pleasure to be part of their growth and expansion. Our ambitions align and we look forward to continuing our support for Cornish Bakery throughout the next phase of their exciting plans.”
