WRS Team Member Raises More Than £1,000 for Little Princess Trust
Adam Pinder, an employee at WRS, cut 12 inches of his hair to support the Little Princess Trust raising £1,107.84.
The Little Princess Trust provides free real hair wigs to children and young people (up to 24 years) who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or other conditions.
They also fund childhood cancer research, searching to find kinder and more effective treatments.
WRS employee Adam Pinder decided to support this wonderful charity by cutting off 12 inches of his hair.
We know how much Adam loves his long hair so to support him, his fellow employees at WRS, along with Adam’s friends and family have helped him raise an incredible £1,107.84.
WRS arranged with the Isle of Wight College Deputy Head, Victoria Egerton, for College Hairdressing Tutors to attend the WRS Headquarters to cut Adam’s hair.
Adam’s Haircut

Adam told us why he decided to support this wonderful charity:
“I’ve been growing my hair again since I last donated 17 inches in October 2021. Now that my hair is long enough, I would love to do the same and fundraise so that we I contribute toward the cost of making a wig.
“It’s truly amazing what The Little Princess Trust do to support these young people, so I set out to raise as much as possible to help. I’m so happy that we smashed the target.
“Thank you to my colleagues at WRS and my friends and family for their support!”
WRS staff also baked cakes. To make a wig costs Little Princess Trust £550, meaning Adam has raised enough money to purchase two wigs.
A big well done Adam, everyone at WRS is very proud of you!
