Bringing Outdoor Self-Service Ordering to Tattershall Lakes

WRS has continued its successful partnership with Away Resorts, installing two waterproof outdoor self-service kiosks at the popular Tattershall Lakes holiday park in Lincolnshire.

The latest installation gives guests a convenient way to browse menus and order food and drinks independently, while helping the resort manage demand during busy periods.

Taking Self-Service Beyond Four Walls

Self-service technology is becoming increasingly popular across the hospitality industry, with benefits that extend beyond traditional indoor environments.

The new outdoor ordering kiosks at Tattershall Lakes are designed for year-round use, giving guests an additional way to place orders during busy summer days and winter breaks.

By providing another ordering point, the kiosks can help reduce queues, improve service efficiency and free up team members to focus on delivering a great guest experience.

Self-service ordering also creates opportunities for upselling, allowing hospitality businesses to promote extras and upgrades throughout the ordering process.

Building on a Successful Partnership with Away Resorts

WRS continues to support Away Resorts across its UK holiday parks, providing a range of hospitality technology solutions, including EPOS systems, self-service kiosks, order-at-table technology and kitchen display systems.

A previous kiosk installation at an Away Resorts fish and chip restaurant helped increase average transaction value by £3–£5, as highlighted in our Away Resorts case study.

The latest installation at Tattershall Lakes builds on this successful partnership, demonstrating how WRS works closely with Away Resorts to introduce technology that enhances the guest experience and supports operational efficiency.
