WRS Recognised at Lloyds British Business Excellence Awards

The Lloyds British Business Excellence Awards celebrate the resilience, innovation and creativity of the UK’s business community.

To be recognised as one of the best businesses in the UK was a really proud achievement for us all at WRS.

Just to be shortlisted as a finalist in this year’s Lloyds British Excellence Awards was very special in its own right. But to receive a ‘highly commended’ in the ‘Customer Loyalty Award’ category was simply amazing – an achievement that is testament to everyone involved in our work.

The awards, this year held at London’s Grosvenor Hotel, is the largest programme of its kind in the UK, celebrating the best of British business.

Alongside our customer loyalty accolade, we were also really proud to be named a finalist in the Family Business of the Year category.

Core family values of integrity and loyalty, alongside a customer-first approach, are vitally important to us. Those principles were installed from the start and today, under the leadership of David, his son, Chris, and daughter, Sophie, are fundamental to how we work.

To know we do it well and to receive recognition at national level was a wonderful achievement.
