Charity Cycling Challenge

Team members from WRS Systems hit top gear in a charity cycling challenge to support a local Island charity – raising £1,000.

Three static bikes were set up at the WRS Systems head office in Newport, with staff each taking turns to step into the saddle.

The WRS systems team was inspired by its client – Hurst – who got the ball rolling by cycling more than 60 miles between Hurst stores on the Island.

After a gruelling few hours, the WRS team manged to smash the 100 mile target, by completing just shy of 140 miles.

A Fundraising Event for Home-Start Isle of Wight

The event was held in aid of Home-Start Isle of Wight, an Island charity that helps and supports families with young children.

Home-Start Scheme Manager, Alison Griffiths, said:
“We are so grateful for the generosity of everyone who supported the event. The lives of children and families on the Isle of Wight will be better because of you.”
